A place to start

Welcome to the daily trainer blog, fitness education and personal training website!

It’s been a crazy couple of months moving from a time of serving into the military to being on the civilian side of the world. Life has just begun a new chapter and with it means ditching some of the old and bringing in some of the new. For me that means changing from being a leader of marines to applying some of the coaching, teaching, and leadership skills that I have learned from my time in. During my time in the Marine Corps, I served as a rifleman, team leader and squad leader. Every time I received a new position or higher rank was a time for a new set of challenges and skills needed to be successful. There is a lot to be said about training in the military. Hours can be long, and the work can be hard like other professions but the closest thing to it in terms of physicality would be first responder jobs. There is a lot of human performance side affects you witness due to the loss of sleep, nutrition and improper body mechanics that happen because of stresses placed on the body. Because of this I really started to investigate the health and fitness industry to prevent injuries and any negative long-term effects on not only my body, but the other marines placed below me. Combined with a lifelong interest in various sports (wrestling, football, martial arts, cross country, track) have all fueled my pursuit to be a personal trainer. I hope to apply all those skills into a new career in the health and fitness industry. With a newly earned NSCA-CPT certification I am out on the lookout for not only a job in the health and fitness industry but a place to help me grow and learn more about my craft. I am looking forward to starting this new journey and taking you along the way with it. Stay tuned to learn more about me and ways to help build a healthier lifestyle for yourself. Please reach out for any interests in being trained or questions, I will answer to the best of my ability.
